Healthy breakfast-to-go

These delicious health balls are good for brekkie on the go …. packed with goodies that will have you feeling healthy on the inside…

You can also add some cacao nibs for a little choccie delight!

2T chia seeds
2 T hemp seeds
juice of half a freshly squeezed orange
Zest of organic orange
1 C Raw almond flour
1/2 t cinnamon
1/2 C shredded coconut
1/2C dessicated coconut (for rolling the balls in)
2T melted coconut oil
1/2C chopped almonds
1/4C yacon syrup or organic honey
1/4C date paste (make by blending 4 dates with 4T water)
1/4C chopped raisins
1/4C chopped cranberries
1/2C chopped medjool dates
Pinch of himalayan sea salt

Whisk chia with the orange juice + zest, set aside.
Mix rest of ingredients in a bowl (except coconut to roll balls in) + mix thoroughly.  Add the chia + orange + mix again.  Work the mixture with your handsto get a nice consistency, ready for rolling.
Roll into balls using your hands and then roll into dessicated coconut.
Pop into freezer or fridge and allow to set before eating.
